Carer Discounts

If you purchase entry to the Cat Emporium from our website and contact us immediately thereafter to advise that you will be bringing a carer, you will be issued with an extra entry pass free of charge for your carer when you arrive.

To arrange a free entry pass for a carer, get in touch via email at bookings@ladydinahs.co.uk or via telephone at 02086169390.

This can only be done if:

a) there is enough capacity for your carer in that session; and
b) you can produce any of the below documentation as proof of eligibility for the carer discount.

Accepted Documentation

  • Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or Personal Independent payments for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book

  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award

  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded

  • A Blue or Orange badge, or

  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).

  • International Proof of Disability (ISA (international symbol of access) or similar must be printed on it)

If you wish to upgrade to an Afternoon Tea at the time of booking, please note our free carer pass will only apply to the cafe's £15 entry fee - there will be a charge of £15 for a carer to also receive Afternoon Tea. This extra charge can be paid via card, PayPal or Bacs and can be arranged by emailing or calling the team after booking. As a small independent business in a volatile sector, we do not offer complimentary Afternoon Teas. The free entry pass is reasonable adjustment offer, taking into account the size and availability of resources for our small organisation. At least one item of the documentation listed above must be shown. This is to prevent abuse of the carer discount offer. No complimentary or discounted tickets will be given if evidence is not provided on arrival and our team will not tolerate any form of abuse in the event of refusal.

Please ensure you bring the necessary paperwork to receive the discount you are entitled to.

You must tell us in advance if you are bringing a carer!

Our capacity is limited to 30 guests, and we are not insured for more. Be sure to tell us if you are bringing a carer so we can prevent overbooking. We have to turn away surprise guests if their arrival places us over our insured capacity, so it’s important to tell us who is coming. Please contact bookings@ladydinahs.co.uk to tell us if you plan to bring a carer.
