Meet the Cats - Akela



Black kitten - Akela - London Cat Cafe



About Akela:

Akela joined the Cat Emporium with her mom Chuchi and her three siblings Mowgli, Leela and Bagheera! They were born the end of May 2024!

Out of her sisters, Akela is the one who looks most like her brother Bagheera! She has very pointy ears too and is the quickest hunter from the four! At first she was quite shy around us, just like her sisters and would only come around when her mom was with her.
However when we started introducing them to the cat cafe floor and after she realised there are so many cat trees and shelves to climb, she quickly got over her shyness and was running around like crazy! 

Personality: 

Akela is a very flirty little lady! She would always come running to you if she sees, that you're offering cuddles! She also recently learnt to love buttpads and will ask for those too! As flirty and as cuddly as she is, Akela also loves chasing toys! She would immediately stop whatever she's doing and launch herself at a moving toy! She loves to jump and do backflips when catching feathers, would chase any spring or ball you throw for her and would have endless zoomies with her siblings around the cafe!
Akela also loves climbing on the big shelves in the tearoom and her current favourite bed is the burgundy cat tree on our basement floor!

If you sign up to our adoptions and fostering list, we will email you when we are looking for new homes for cats. These might be cats living in our cafe who are ready to find a new family, or cats who have been left in our care. From time to time we offer fostering opportunities and special events for cat carers in London, so you may hear about these from time to time if you sign up to this list.
