Tao's New Home!
It's been a month since Tao left the cafe and moved into his forever home!
Tao has always been a bit more nervous, than some of our other cats, so we knew he would need some extra time to settle completely in a new home.
He has been doing extremely well! He now lives with two adoptive siblings called Tilly and Ted! Tilly is growing fond of Tao and is slowly, but surely becoming friends with him, which is helping Tao to feel more confident!
Ted is still a little suspicious of him, but that's completely normal!
Tao has been enjoying exploring his new house! He has two spacious floors to run around in! He enjoys watching out the window and making biscuits on his blanket!
His new house also has a garden, but he's just not ready to explore it yet! For now he's sticking to baby steps!
Tao has also learned a new way of asking for cuddles, where he would sit infront of his human and slowly raise his paws up, to indicate he's feeling cuddly!
He is making progress everyday and is becoming more and more cuddly and affectioante with his new family!
Pizza with the Cats!
We recently expanded our menu and we're finally happy to present you: Pippin's Pizzeria!
It's no secret, that we like to name our products after the cats, so Pippin's Pizzeria was inspired by some of our Lord of the Rings residents!
So far our menu is of humble size, but all the options we offer are delicious!
We are still in the process of collecting feedback, so maybe we will create more pizza flavours in the near future!
Merry's Margherita
Merry's Margherita contains tomato base, Merry's favourite mozzarella cheese, topped with fresh basil (contains gluten, dairy)
Chuchi's Vegan Margherita
Chuchi's vegan version is made with tomato base and vegan mozzarella topped with cherry tomato & rocket! (contains gluten)
Elle's Garlic Bread
Elle's garlic bread (although it's Ros on the picture) is a simple, yet delicious treat for all! It's made of our pizza base and generously covered with garlic butter! (contains gluten)
Each pizza costs £10.99 and is 12'
Merlin and Morgana!
Merlin and Morgana have officially began their cafe floor introduction!
So far, Merlin has been shying away from real big cat interaction and prefers to just pop her head and take a little sneak peak outside, but is getting braver and braver every day!
She did meet some of our cats and we're happy to report, that the hissing was at minimum!
Morgana on the other side has been much braver, than her shy sister! But is also a bigger diva... she has no problem setting boundries with the cats and showing them who is boss!
Both kittens are amazingly loving and cuddly with people and love to chase toys!
They're not out with everyone else full time just yet, but our cat carers do leave the cat room door open throught out the day to give them the choice if they want to come out on the floor for a little bit here and there!
