I am a tabby/white cat, so readily attired in pinstripes, white bib and tucker, but will I need my bowler hat in the city?
PS can bring my own newspaper

    • ladydinah says:

Oh you sound like our kind of professional puss! Please do bring your own newspaper, we have many comfortable seats for reading in. I look forward to the interview process. Please be aware that it may involve cuddles; it’s unorthodox, but I think you’ll agree it’s the only way to be sure we’re the right place for you.

  2. Monica says:

Any chance to get the job if I don’t have previous experience in cafes? But I have been working in shops and adore cats!
    Thank you very much.

Sure! You can sign up to our Cat Cafe jobs list here: bit.ly/RBzPh8 and we’ll email you the job ads when we’re in a position to hire.

  3. Jessica Lyons says:

    Hello,

I help out at Cats Protection in Epsom as a graphic designer. Maybe I could help in making posters, illustrations also short animations to promote Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium, or simply something to amuse the kittys.

    - I have a BA Hons degree in Animation
    - National Diploma in Fine Art

(I also get along very well with cats)

If there’s anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I don’t have a cat of my own, but looking after them means a lot to me.

As I live in Epsom, I can come to some parts of London, but it really depends on where the cafe is. Could I have the address please?

    Thank you for your time.

    Jessica Lyons :)

    • ladydinah says:

Hi Jessica! thank you so much, this is very generous.

I currently have a designer helping me get our branding along, but there will be more creative work to do in the future if we secure crowdfunding.

We don’t yet have an address, but it will be around Shoreditch, in East Central London.

We can chat via email, I think that would be easier (I get lots of spam to this website, so it is easy to miss an important comment!)

      Best,

  4. Simona says:

I have just sent an email to that address and registered in the newsletter for jobs!
    Hope it works
    xxxxxx Simona :)

  5. Mia Filisch says:

I already have a job, but could I volunteer helping you guys get set up? I have loads of experience with cats, feline behavior studies and a great skill set to prevent behavioral issues, and would generally be hands on and do whatever needed in helping them getting settled into the new environment.

I’m currently looking for opportunities to volunteer in a cat or animal related role, and this one sounds just purrfect!!

I also have some experience in running small cafes and shops and all the bazillion little tasks that come with it, so if there’s any way I can help you out in making this happen on a practical level, just let me know and I’d love to be part of it!

    x Best,
    Mia

  6. Jessicat says:

I have a lot of experience with performing/directing/producing immersive performances/events. I would be very interested in talking about some kitty themed events/nights, perhaps even your opening?

  7. Danielle says:

    Hello

I have a lot of experience in PA/Management if you need someone behind the scenes to make sure things run smoothly… I am also a cat lover and have my own wonderful kitty called Graceland.

I would be thrilled if I could be part of this wonderful venture.

    Best

    Danielle

  8. Carla says:

Discovering about a cat cafe’ in london is the best thing it happened during the day…thank you so much! :D
I’ve already signed up for the job listing obvously!

  9. Tippy says:

I have all the qualities listed above, but i’m not a cat…Will this count against me?

  10. Mrs Newman says:

I’m sure you’ve got this bit covered but if you look for cats waiting to be rehomed I want to recommend the Animal Hostel Trust. I got Gene my sweet ginger tabby there last year. The charity ran by Yvonne the kindest lady you could meet. Sadly after 30 years of running the charity due to old age Yvonne is looking to close the charity, she’ll be looking for safe new shelter for the cats. It’s a very small charity as well so I imagine she’ll need extra help. Here’s the shelter’s website if you need it http://www.animalhosteltrust.org

I’ll be your most regular customer when the cafe’s open!

  11. Claire says:

A friend told me about your cat cafe and it just sounds amazing. Moved over from nz a year ago and the thing I miss the most is my cats.

So point of this, if your doing coffee… I could maybe help you out sometimes. I worked as a barista for a year at TAP coffee and just started at Salvation Jane (both specialty coffee shops).

I don’t know what your after, other than a cute cat but I can do all of the aforementioned pre-requests and put a few hearts in a coffee.

If you want to know more/cv then absolutely contact me. If not, in sure this will be real hit and good luck.

    Thanks!

  12. Yasmin Soubra says:

I am looking for a full time/part time job in London associated with animals. I have a BSc in politics and Japanese but spent a gap year volunteering abroad working with big kitties in south africa and small kitties in the blue cross. needless to say, I love animals! After visiting cat cafes in South Korea and Japan I was thrilled to hear one opening in London!

Is there a chance I can send my CV in? And if so, may I have an email address to send it to? This would be my dream job!

    Kind regards,
    Yasmin

  13. Gabriela says:

    Hi guys,

I am very excited about your opening! I am a Business Management student at King’s College London, about to finish my BSc degree in July (starting a new BSc degree in Archaeology in September). A proud servant to a lovely cat called Willow, I have grown up with cats and love them to bits.

Anyways, I would really be interested in any job openings that you have in the future :) The only thing is, so far I have only worked in banks and large corporations for internships and have no experience working in a cafe (I’ve always wanted to open my own though). Do you think there is still any chance for me?

    All the best!
    Gabi

      Hi Isabel,

That sounds very peculiar! You definitely have the correct email address. I just sent an email to myself successfully to try it out, perhaps it was something unusual at the time? It might be worth trying to re-send :)
